Welcome to the website of Corruption Watch.  Corruption Watch is a South African civil society, not-for-profit organisation.  We gather and analyse information to spot patterns and hotspots of corruption; collect incident reports from the public; investigate and publish research reports; build alliances and in some instances, work with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to investigate allegations of individual acts of corruption; and empower people to take a stand against corruption.
     
  2. Before you use this website, you should be aware of your rights and responsibilities regarding whistle-blowing. A guide to the Protected Disclosures Act (the “Whistle-blowing” Act) is available at http://www.psc.gov.za/documents/docs/guidelines/PSC_odac_update.pdf . A guide in relation to whistle blowers and how information can be protected is forthcoming.
     
  3. By accessing and using this website, you are agreeing to be bound by and to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you may not access and use this website.
     
  4. While every effort is made to update the information regularly and to offer the most current, correct and clearly expressed information possible, Corruption Watch cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracy, errors, omissions or misinterpretations.

Information that is contained in any email or attachment from Corruption Watch is private and confidential.  If you are not the intended recipient, please notify the sender thereof immediately or delete the message from all locations on your computer.  You should not copy the e-mail or use it for any purpose, or disclose its contents to any other person. To do so may be unlawful and result in a claim against you.
     
  7. This website contains links to other websites and may refer you to other organisations over which Corruption Watch has no control.  Corruption Watch therefore takes no responsibility for any information on other websites or advice provided by other organisations.
