Zuma, Thales corruption trial looms after latest challenge dismissed
On Friday 22 January the High Court in Pietermaritzburg dismissed, with costs, an application by French arms supplier Thales to challenge charges relating to South Africa’s arms deal. Thales and former president Jacob Zuma face charges of corruption, racketeering and money laundering, but have been fighting tooth and nail to wriggle out of them.
