Webinar: Combating corruption through the EITI – an advocacy agenda for civil society

To effectively tackle corruption, countries need to address the factors that make the licensing stage in mining vulnerable to corruption. Following the paper by Transparency International Australia on important lessons for resource-rich countries and advice for EITI MSGs, the Accountable Mining Programme is hosting a webinar for civil society organisations to get an overview of the key findings, learn how civil society organisations are using the paper’s recommendations, and discuss advocacy opportunities.
