Transparency International, the leading civil society organisation tackling corruption worldwide, will release its 21st annual Corruption Perceptions Index on Wednesday, 27 January 2016 at 05h00 Berlin time (04h00 GMT).

This year’s index ranks 168 countries/territories by their perceived levels of public sector corruption. The index draws on 12 surveys covering expert assessments and views of businesspeople. The Corruption Perceptions Index is the leading global indicator of public sector corruption, offering a yearly snapshot of the relative degree of corruption by ranking countries from all over the globe.
