Corruption Watch will be hosting a series of activities at various community locations in Port Elizabeth between 17 and 24 March 2018, including schools, clinics, taxi ranks, town halls and shopping centres.

To date, the organisation has received over 20 000 reports of corruption focused on areas such as schools, housing, health and licensing sectors, a number of which originate from the Eastern Cape. The impact of corruption is most keenly felt by those who rely on government services and resources for their basic needs.

By taking the message directly to communities, Corruption Watch aims to improve the knowledge of corrupt practices, access to ways of reporting corruption for people as and when they experience it in their cities and municipalities, and their rights and responsibilities in combating corruption.

Members of the media are invited to attend our engagements with these communities, in particular the following events:

1. Youth Integrity Lecture
