In the build-up to the general elections, the Nguvu Collective, an organisation working with marginalised communities in building leaders that will take the voice of the community forward, has launched its South Africa 2024 Elections survey to learn more about the issues South Africans care about.

The organisation is committed to working with people on the ground to create a wave of change and civic engagement.

“Through this survey we want to make it easy for you to add your voice to the agenda of political parties running in the 2024 national elections. We hope to share the results of this survey with as many political parties as we can.”

The survey will take about two minutes, says the organisation, and will help it to learn more about the top issues citizens want politicians to prioritise. Questions range from the intent to vote and reasons for doing so (or not), to the issues plaguing South Africa that politicians need to prioritise, in the opinion of the respondent. Up to five issues can be submitted.
