Like other non-profit organisations, Corruption Watch (CW) appreciates not only moral support but also financial support, and we’re endlessly grateful for the generosity of our donors.
We have an exciting new initiative launching soon – our major donor programme, The Watcher’s Circle, which falls part of our public fundraising.
The programme will target a specific group of individuals who, we deduce, are likely to partner with us on a yearly membership subscription in order to aid the organisation’s work. Through this programme, donors will be able to support specific programmes and be part of a unique community that will engage closely with CW in support of our work.
[Investing in the fight against corruption has never been more pertinent, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic and the need to protect workers or assist those struggling financially or are hungry. The corrupt have proven to stop at nothing to grab resources not meant for them, and the stakes remain nothing less than life or death. We are calling on you to join our yearly membership programme from R5 000 per year to support our anti-corruption initiatives.
By supporting three major areas of CW’s work – our flagship campaigns (such as policing, whistle-blowers, or health), our analytical anti-corruption activities (such as research, assessing corruption patterns, or promoting open data projects), and our outreach initiatives (community engagements, workshops or public education materials) – supporters can help to ensure that we have the resources to continue with these important projects.
Colourful donor levels
CW’s logo is a colour known as free speech red, and accordingly, we have named the four donation tiers in the major donor programme after evocative rubescent colours – the Rose Bud Circle, the Torch Red Circle, the Scarlet Circle, and the Free Speech Red Circle – where Free Speech signifies the highest tier.
Other membership benefits will include merchandise, invitations to CW events, and more.
