Corruption Watch will be conducting a series of engagements with mining-affected communities in Dannhauser, Newcastle, from 3 to 5 March 2020.
The Budget Justice Coalition is disappointed by the finance minister’s 2020 budget speech which was delivered on 26 February. The coalition described the speech as bleak, and expressed concerns that the 2020 budget proposals would serve to further undermine South Africa’s pro-poor agenda.
